DROLED Lamps - Optical systems

Photo Electronics on DROLED lamps has different optical systems available. Their features are­ described below.

FLAT WINDOW

It permits to achieve an high exposure time in the curing phase.

The radiation comes out with a wide angulation, equal to about 120°.

APPLICATION:­Complete polymerization few millimetres from the window.

AVAILABLE ON THE FOLLOWING MODELS:

FOCUSED LENS (Patent pending)

It permits to focus the radiation in long distances and obtain ­an high irradiance value, using the light ­reflection and refraction.

APPLICATION:­ Complete polymerization far from the window.

ROD LENS

Ideal for collimate the radiation that comes out from ­the cylindrical ­­surface, achieving a very tight beam,­a consequent low exposure time ­and a reduction ­in rays dispersions outside the target area.

APPLICATION:­­Gelification and ink pinning.

Ideal for collimate the radiation that comes out from the cylindrical surface,­achieving a very tight beam, a consequent low exposure time and a ­reduction in rays dispersions outside the target area.

The outbound light ­is angled compared to the lamp axis and that permit to distance the target­­ ­area from the printhead.

APPLICATION:­ Gelification and ink pinning through angled beam.

AVAILABLE ON THE FOLLOWING MODELS: DROLED L75, DROLED L76

DISTANCE BETWEEN THE UV LAMP AND THE SURFACE TO POLYMERIZE

Using UV LED lamps of the Droled series you can distance the emitting window from the surface to be polymerized and still obtain a high radiant energy.
Through Focused lens optical system, the light that comes ­out is focused and it permits of consume less energy when the distance increases.

Focused Lens optics system is useful also when surfaces to be dried are irregular and no-planar.
